It sounds like they are talking about the new boards at the arena. Checks against the glass last night were very quiet, not the normal banging you would here.

thats what happens when the dashers are further apart, and the glass has to be anchored deeper in the boards. they give less, and are much quieter. i remember when HSBC had seamless glass. THAT was quiet.

from the pictures you and phil sent me last night, i just dont dig the new boards much.

yeah, i dont like the blue. all arenas pretty much have blue, just a few had red. and the ads will be put up for the regular season. not many arenas put ads up for preseason.
