Hey guys, I haven't been on the SJ forums in a real long time, been busy with work and my senior year of high school so I figured I'd pop in and say I'm back in this thread. :P

Hello all, I'm new to posting on the board. I've lurked here on and off for a while (in a non creepy way, I just like hockey) and I thought I would say hello.

The new era of Buffalo Sabres hockey has me pretty excited about the team's future, I'm really glad to hear 'the slug' is being phased out. It's fantastic to have an owner with his ear to the ground regarding the fans.

Let's hope we keep climbing the standings!

Welcome! If you're an NHL ref I hate you but you're probably not so hell yeah!

I think these sentiments are echoed by all Sabres fans. Welcome.

Do you listen to any of these bands?

System of a Down
Disturbed
Rise Against
Linkin Park

Those are my favorite bands.

I dunno, when I think "metal" pretty much anything on the mainstream radio (like those bands) is excluded.

Slayer, Iron Maiden, MegaDeth...things like that come to mind...

But that's just me, I'm an old fart.

Sure i'll listen to any kind of rock or metal as long it has a good tune to it. Some of my favorites are Metallica, Slipknot, Pantera, and Whitechapel.

Of the speed / death variety yes...although I disapprove of the drum machine wholeheartedly ;)

I like Metallica and Slipknot, and I've heard some good songs by Pantera and Whitechapel but not enough to have an opinion.
