i always like hiking down the gorge at artpark to go fishing....whether i catch any fish or not....it's always an enjoyable time

That was almost a daily occurrence for me when I was a kid.
I grew up a couple blocks from ArtPark.

We used to have a rope swing that landed right in the middle of a weak whirlpool...it was a blast.

Ditto Alex. I would've loved to have seen at least 1 there.

I don't spend as much time in Buffalo as I should, but the Arena and the streets surrounding it.

The creepy parking lot under the overpass.

Sorry to hear that. I took my sons to a game vs Calagary in 1995 I believe, so they did see the Sabres play there.

I think the concourses of The Aud led to a lot of it's charm. When it was expanded, new concourses were added to the outside of the old one's. It took a while to figure out where everything was. There were a lot of neat nooks and little snack bars, bars, and vendor stations throughout.

I wish, when I worked for The Buffalo Blizzard, I had the forsight to film a virtual tour of The Aud. I am kicking myself for never having done that. Not to mention, so much of that memorabilia that was nicked by who knows, could have been nicked by me!!

Are you kidding me? I wish I would have known that when you were here last summer. I could have taken your on a tour that you wouldn't have to pay for ;) It's my favorite place in the entire city and whose history I am very acquainted with. Also, geographically unique in the fact it's the only place within city limits that has hills and a running creek. Originally Erastus Grangers farm.. oh never mind ;)

Other fav's; anywhere on the N.E. coast
Coast of MA - Boston, Danvers, Salem, P-town.
Coast of N.H. - Portsmouth
Coast of ME - Kittery, Freeport, Ba-Haba, up to Bangor

Southeast - no where like Key West.
Mid-west - Park City, Utah
Cali - San Diego, Huntington Beach

Mexico - anywhere but Acapulco or Tijuana (Don't ever go to Tijuana - even for shits and giggles)

Did I put an apostrophe somewhere where one didn't belong Stuuuuuuuu?! ;)
