I'm debating, I'd find ESPN to be preferable.

I've always found ESPN to be cleaner looking and easier to navigate. Personal preference.

With fewer teams and more defensive stats I'd be in.

there really aren't that many defensive stats to choose from. in looking at it right now, there's only hits and blocks. its all offense.

Here are all the possible stats:

Penalty Minutes
Powerplay Goals
Powerplay Assists
Powerplay Points
Shorthanded Goals
Shorthanded Assists

Shooting Percentage
Faceoffs Won
Faceoffs Lost
Hits
Blocks

Goaltenders

Games Started
Wins
Losses
Goals Against
Goals Against Average

I'll be in - and actually active this year. I missed the draft last year - after that it just kinda sucked :(

I'm down. I've only done 1 season of fantasy games, and that was football. This will be my first foray into fantasy hockey. I like having a shallower league. It allows for deeper teams. I don't have a preference for where to run it.

Just curious how you guys handle the drafting. I would prefer some sort of live draft, as auto drafting doesn't really fit my idea of good team building. Whether it's online, in the SJ chat or something, I think that would be best.

Also, if we could decide on scoring rules, roster setup and all that before too long, that would give me some time to read up on fantasy hockey and try to get a handle on it.

I think we should use a forum thread to do our draft picks - we've got some time before the season starts. I think if we got it started now then maybe we do the first 10 rounds in the thread and then auto-draft after that?

I am interested, but my only experience is taking over a friend's fantasy football team for about a third of a season. I might be too green for your league.
