Why didn't Detroit have the Chili peppers do the half time show? Considering Anthony Kiedis is from Grand Rapids.

Why didn't they have anyone but Nickelback do it? The petition did not work but from what I gathered the announcers mentioned that a petition was started to substitute anyone else in their stead. I refused to watch the halftime show.

Chad also plays guitar and seems to know only three power chords, yet flails away all hardcore on stage like he’s Jimmy Hendrix reincarnated. Joe Satriani flushes more talent than Kroeger possesses. As for the other “musicians” in the band, they aren’t worthy of teaching a tone-deaf junior high school music class.
