I wasn't awake at 8 yet. But when I got up, my mom and I had lunch and we had some beers.

But that night, kept drinking til 4am.

there's several companies that will rent to under 25s, you just have an extra daily fee.

Well, 12 years ago when this actually applied to me, and I needed to rent a car, none of the regular places would rent me anything, giving only the excuse that they dont rent to people under 25 years of age. Maybe things have changed since then, or perhaps I just asked the wrong 3 or 4 places.

yeah i think it's relatively new. hertz, avis, and enterprise all rent to me with varying charges...enterprise is the cheapest, unbelievably.

Yeah, I've done it through Hertz last summer. Was $15/day additional, but I got it waived through AAA or something.

Only applied to standard cars/vans/etc, they wouldn't let me rent a luxury or sports car. Which is a shame, because I was renting it in order to drive onto base at KSC for the last shuttle launch (I got to watch from the press site, which meant I got to part right next to the VAB). I really wanted to be rolling up in a Corvette...but couldn't rent one.
