thanks everyone! i left work at 330-4 and went to wegmans to get a sixer of saranac shandy. however, they were out of saranac shandy :(. i think they stopped carrying it already because a lot of pumpkin beer is rearing their heads. i do love pumpkin beer, but not usually until mid-september.

i picked up pumpkin beer anyways and read my kindle on the porch for a few hours. this is my porch:

my girlfriend brought my present over... IT IS ALL FOUR ADVERTISEMENT STANDS FOR THE AVENGERS. it's awesome.

then i grilled a little vegetable medley and some ribeyes, enjoyed that while watching olympics on the porch, and then ate a couple cookies. all in all, a nice, simple, relaxing, day.

i also built these chairs last weekend- boy are they comfy and they are just perfect for boozing:

and it was the 11th anniversary of me owning my dog!
