Every year I go down to Long Island/NYC to cover the Gold Coast Concours in Glen Cove, NY, hosted by Martino Auto Concepts to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute. This year, the event was bigger than ever before and packed with all sorts of vintage-, sports-, and super cars. That's a beautiful old Porsche in your 3rd pic, but that chrome plated Lambo gets a fail from me. I'll never understand the guys who think "you know, this Lamborghini just isn't flashy enough for me"

Jalopnik did a story on the guy who owned the Lamborghini Aventador a while back. http://jalopnik.com/5893665/meet-the-most-stereotypical-lamborghini-owner-in-the-world(He also has a follow up in the post). He was really nice at the event; talked to everyone there and took pictures of them with his car if they wanted to. |

ohhhh...it's *that* guy Yeah, I've read that story before, when I saw the car I thought for a second it may be him.

He's a pretty polarizing figure. I don't think he's a bad guy necessarily. He was friendly and nice to everyone there. Definitely not my style though. I loved the Porsche 356 and the Lola race car. The Lola is there every year and is just beautiful. |

That's for sure! lol. It's the fourth year for the event and I've been going since 2010. It's a great place with great people and some really nice, high-end cars. |
