Great...as if the news could get better. He was effective when he was out there tonight.

I'm frustrated, to an extent. Leodis made a simply idiotic move - if he would have kneeled it, the game was ours.

But I'm still optimistic. The offense looked pretty good. The offensive line held up great, and Trent was picking the right guys. I know some will criticize him for not hitting TO or Evans as much, but they were being double-covered most of the night, it really did leave nice openings to pass to the TE's or take a run. The defense didn't look bad - they did let the Pats go down field a lot, but against the Pats, it could have been a lot worse. They were fairly effective against the run - something that was completely lacking last year. And they them to a lot of field goals and didn't crumple in the red zone.

It's going to be a tough season, but if they play like they did tonight, only a bit smarter, they've got a chance at every game. I feel a lot better after the game than I did before, they actually demonstrated that they are somewhat competent.

Holding the Patriots to 25 points, is the biggest thing about the game.

Our defense is much improved and our offense is much improved. We led the entire game except where it counted, but we have got a lot better. This season will be a fun one for the Bills.

McKelvin was the reason we lost, not because of Trent, or our offensive line or defense losing this game. McKelvin was the idiot and should have taken a knee instead of trying to run the ball up the feild.

To be fair, we did look really good. Still in a short season, you can't give away wins. I don't know why god hates us, not only have we not made the playoffs in ten years, but we haven't had anything to cheer about. We can't even win a big game or get a moral victory.
