Reposting what I wrote in the other thread. That is all ;)

It will be interesting to see how Suisse play today v Norway @ 3 p.m. EST. They were within inches of beating Canada on Thursday. I think the US needs every second of practice they can get. It's hard to imagine they have a chance against the stacked teams like Russia and Slovakia. The US v Canada game will speak volumes in terms of advancement/placement for both teams.

I'm hoping I'm home from work just in time for the puck to drop.

How cute, you think your healthcare is free.

The strongest naturally fermented beer in the world is American.

Here in California we have pot stores it's so legal.

any other arguments?

It's free enough that everyone can afford it. No one here dies from tax -- pretty sure they do from no medicare. Another argument altogether I suppose.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/scot ... 517607.stm apparently the scots make the strongest beer, and the most popular beers in the USA (I know you're not part of this demographic) are probs coors and bud light. LIGHT BEER.

Cali is pretty sweet, but the rest of the country...

and besides, you guys have the south :), so we win

No...that Scottish beer is "fortified" like a port or malt liquor.
It doesn't take any brewing expertise to do that.

I specifically said "naturally fermented" and that honor belongs to Samuel Adams Utopias.

;)

Oh one more thing you guys have is a queen..so yeah...um...enjoy being a subject I guess ;)

I did a double take to make sure I wasn't in the Politics thread.

We have the South, were we can wear shorts in February and NO JACKET without being cold.

We win because of that exactly. And because we have Texas, were everything is bigger in Texas also. Can't beat Texas.

GO USA!!!!!!

     God DAMN I love that fucking movie! John Candy (For being Canadian) Plays a really good Amerk  Classic!

Much like Schony, I'ma just repost what I said in the other thread.

Quote:
I think it's going to be one hell of a game! Although, I am kind of glad I’ll be missing it

My honest opinion after seeing both teams play so far, USA has a better shot at working together as a team. Canada, when pressured, tends to focus more on the whole, "Me me me me", attitude. That’s where you run into blind passing, coughing up the puck, mental lapses begin, defensive break downs, egos take over and frustration will set in. That's where you'll start to see cheap shots. I love my country and our team (minus Crosby) and all, but I'm calling a spade a spade. If Canada is on the ropes, they'll start mucking up the play where as if it's the US team is in that same position, IMO, I think they are much better at maintaining their composure and focusing on the task at hand.

Also, I think this is going to be a low scoring game and won't be surprised to see a 4-3 score for either team.

Just to toss this out there and to add a little friendly fuel to the fire, we may have to apologize for Bryan Adams, Celine Dion and Shania Twain but common friends to the south, seriously... G.W.B. G-Dubbya. Bushy boy. ;) Yes? No?

And being under a queen really sucks. Especially one as old as that old cooter in England! Every time that cunt comes to Canada, we have to flip the bill for it. And what do we get? A little half assed waive from her. Bitch. I have a good notion to go to jolly 'ole England and spit in the whores face. The royal Cunt she is.

Tell me something, my fellow Canucks. How in the name of sweet jesus are we still under the royal family? How can we consider her to be classy and proper when images such as this depict what she really is?

Image

That’s right people. She is a nose picker.

On that note, LET’S GO CANADA! :D

2nd hijacked GDT.

I really don't even know what to post. I just know I'll be very tense while expecting the worst. I kinda feel like Wyo does, but if we start taking the upper hand, I will probably get VERY out of hand.

Let's go U.S.A. !!

A win for Miller and a hatty for Bobby Ryan pleez an ty.
