What are the odds of him hitting his own mother with a foul ball?? Luckily she is fine.

The odds on that happening must be retarded.

He looked to see where the ball went and immediately started to go over there.

Denard Span is one of the cockiest players i've ever seen play baseball. I go to about 10 Rochester Red Wings games a year during the summer because of the crazy good food/beer specials and cheap tickets ($5.50) and Span here was something else. Very cocky. There were fly balls to center field, where he could put his arm behind his back and out the other side to catch fly balls. His hitting average was a joke, like .180 but on defense, he was unreal. Glad he "made it".

Oh shit. That's terrible. imagine if he could focus that power into hitting places that are in play.

When I first read the title, I thought it meant he physical beat the shit out of his mom. I could see it going something like this:

Denard: Mom, what's for dinner?
Denard's Mom: Liver and onions, hun.
D: Ugh, I hate that mom. Why do you always make nasty food?
DM: It's not nasty, it's yummy and good for you. Why don't you at least try it.
D: No, I don't want to.
DM: You will.
D: No!
DM: YES YOU WILL!!
DM tries to force D
D retaliates with a cunt kick, then when DM is on the floor he starts slapping her. D then grabs a fork with liver and onions and shoves it in DM's mouth.
D: How do you like it Mom? Is this yummy enough for you?! And nutritious enough for you?! Hmm?? Answer me!! Answer me bitch!! Eat your damn liver and onions you slut!!

And that folks, is why Denard Span is the biggest douche in sports.
