There's obnoxious Boston fans, and obnoxious Yankees fans. Every sport has them, every team has them.

Mike does have a point about the Yankees. They take every opportunity to throw their rings in your face, and tell you generally how awesome they are. Watching YES is like pulling teeth. Their tagline all last year on commercials, paraphrased : "After (so many years) , Greatness has a new address. Get your tickets now to the new Yankeee stadium and witness excellence."

I just don't see that kind of arrogance in advertising from any other franchise.

i do find it funny that they spent all that money on a new ball park, and its considered a bad ball park. 1.3 billion and it sucks.

thats all my point was. the yankees have a wonderful history, be proud of it. but dont mention it every time something negative comes up. i dont when michigan football comes up. (i still think rich Rodriguez looks like he wants to sell me a used Impala behind a carwash)

edit: just voted for the starting lineup for the AL. there was a girl (WHO LET HER VOTE? AND ON THE INTERNET?) who voted for all sox, including kevin youklis over miguel cabrera, and was serious about it. her picture was of her holding up a lucic sign though.
