Favre still has a stronger arm than Brady.

Farve took chances to make those big plays, either they worked or they didn't.

To me I'd rather have a guy take plenty of chances and still be able to win, then a guy who throws to the slot receiver almost every down.

thats the dumbest theory ever. again, i point to this.

everyone says, oh, all brady does is throw to a slot receiver! hes not that good! its the system!

then stop the system, and if you cant, copy it. why on earth would you move away from a proven plan? its all a bunch of crying babies who dont want to give where credit is due: good coaching and a good game plan, and the talent to execute it. i bet you all the money in the world that if the bills could execute that type of offense, NO ONE would bat an eyelash.

favre is reckless to a fault. every season, he plays small ball at the beginning, and he looks great. then he gets a big dick about it, and tries to force the play. and thats why hes only won the big one once, and why he holds the NFL record for most interceptions thrown.

That's a terrible argument. Favre has also played the most games as a quarterback and has the record for most touchdowns thrown too. In fact, I suspect his TD per game to INT per game ration stacks up very favorably against most quarterbacks in the hall of fame

Yeah, Favre is pretty middling when stacked up against the all time greats in TD per game to INT per game ratio...

1). Brady
2). Young
3). Manning
4). Montana
5). Marino
6). Favre
7). Staubach
8). Kelly
9). Elway
10). Simms
11). Fouts
12). Bradshaw

You seem to be ignoring that over his career Favre has made many ridiculous plays because of his willingness to take chances.

im not saying favre sucks. but he gets reckless with his decision making and its killed him ALOT of times. and thats the truth.

how many times, especially in recent years, has he marched his offense down the field, just to throw into double or triple coverage, while another receiver waves his arms around because no one is within 10 yards of him?

it happens ALOT.

Elway took just as many chances as Favre and he's got 2 super bowl rings and 3 AFC championship rings

A great QB will take those chances, because chances are needed to win.

i believe elway is a much better quarterback then favre. smarter as well. but he was a gun slinger, for sure.

and heres what it boils down to. the point of the game is to win. naturally, everyone on that list made a career out of coming up on top.

so who cares the rout these guys take to do so.

Farve has made some very poor decisions in high profile spots that cost his team big games.

He also made some very aggressive decisions in high profile spots that won his team some big games.

I'm no Farve fan, but his recklessness is part of what has made him a good QB over the years. As he's gotten older the bad has been more pronounced than the good, but that's to be expected.

because he gets retarded with the football.

hes a gambler, and thats to be expected.

i dislike favre cause hes made a career out of beating the lions. why you guys hate brady. favre is our brady. but even i know favre was good. hes just inexplicably retarded with his decisions sometimes.
