Looking forward to see what teams will do during this transfer window. I hope Liverpool can get Luis Suarez from Ajax and Clint Dempsey from Fulham.

Manchester City sits tied with Manchester United at 45 points now; but have played two more games. Arsenal sits three points back at 42, having played one game more than Man U.

Man U has 8 road ties so far this season. Wayne Rooney only has three goals on the season; two of which were pk's. Still, he is doing a lot of the work that is allowing for Berbatov to be productive this season.

Rooney returned to the lineup a couple weeks back after missing a couple games with an ankle injury; yeah, he's missed some games this season.

City lost to Aston Villa 1 - 0. Arsenal beat Wigan to keep within 2 points of Man U, as Man U. revenged their tie with Birmingham by beating them 5 - 0 on the strength of three Berbatov goals.

So does that mean Wolves are still in the EPL?

Interesting weekend. Man U loses to Wolves 2 - 1! Arsenal could have pulled within 2 points; but tied with Newcastle 4 - 4.

What did you guys thing of the transfers? All I will say is I will be curious to see how Liverpool uses their two acquisitions; I see them as a bit of a conflict in styles for two guys up front.....

The ref kinda helped out Newcastle in their tie with Arsenal. Those two PK calls were dicey.
