Winning didn't really hurt our draft position all that much. Considering we weren't going to get Luck as soon as we got win #3, there aren't any other players in this upcoming draft worth tanking for. |

Absolutely no offensive linemen that deserve to be picked in the top 20, QBs with way too many questions outside of Luck (who we already were out of contention for) and no real standout front 7 players. QBs: 1. Andrew Luck (we weren't going to get anyway) 2. Cam Newton (character issues, 1-year wonder, gimmick offense, intelligence?) 3. Ryan Mallett (crappy accuracy/touch, ego, Bobby Petrino offense) 4. Jake Locker (had too many bad games and can't lead his team to win even though I know Wash. sucks) LTs: ????? They all suck, really. Anthony Castanzo and Nate Solder are overrated as fuck. DEs/OLBs: 1. Robert Quinn (character issues, but maybe the most talented defensive player in the draft) 2. Da'Quan Bowers (extremely overrated if you look past the stat sheet, can't play OLB) Given our needs and where we are drafting, this class is extremely ass. Losing to gain draft position is useless now that we can't get Luck. |

It's meaningless. screw that. why should we worry about draft picks right now? at this point we don't even know for sure if there will be a season next year. and yeah, sure we're not making the playoffs, but we ruined miami's playoff hopes. and that feels pretty fucking good. and if we can do the same to the jets week 16, that'd be pretty great, too. i'd rather be the spoiler team and end up with a 3-7th over all, rather than end up with a 1st over-all and a record of 2-14. and for what it's worth, right now i'm happier to be a bills fan than i am a sabres fan. the bills are putting everything they have into pretty much every game they've played. and even if they're an average at absolute best team, it feels good to see that. |

But in the next few years, how does it feel knowing we missed out on the next Peyton Manning because we won 1 too many games that year? So it's either, feel good about a meaningless win for a few hours, or feel good about being a perennial Super Bowl contender after getting an elite QB. |
