I know about football, I've been watching football my entire life also. I know how to play football, I've seen enough football to know whats going on and how to beat specific teams. I always said the way to beat the Patriots is by forcing pressure on Brady every down and get him off his rhythm, that's what the Jets were able to do because they had the talent to do so.
To beat the Steelers, shut down their run game and force Ben to throw the ball, and get pressure on Ben. The biggest thing is to shut down the run game and you can win. The way to beat the Packers is the same thing, shut down the aerial attack and limit the run also. Rodgers can air the ball out and so could Ben. This Superbowl will be a very exciting one to watch regardless who wins. I just don't want to see an accused rapist get more rings.
your analysis is like me saying the best way to grow a beard is to not shave.
of course putting pressure on a pass oriented team is going to make it hard for them to win. that's like saying if you stop Oakland's run they're probably going to lose.
But am I wrong in saying that? No, I am not then.
You still need the talent to be able to make that game plan, not every team has that talent, obviously 5 sacks on Brady was enough.
Put the game into Ben's hands and force him to make throws he doesn't want to make will let the Packers win.
It's going to be a good game, two strong defenses colliding, but I still think Rodgers is the better QB to win this game if it has to get put into his arm.

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.
