as polarizing a figure as barry bonds is, he seems peachy compared to canseco. this dudes a pud.

story goes canseco agrees to a celebrity boxing match.. only to send his twin brother in to fight. bait and switch.

classy as always, jose.

A pud he may be, but he's been 100% dead on exposing players that were on the juice.

i dunno about that. i believe he identified the right guys, but i dont believe he injected that many, nor his claims that 85% of major leaguers were juiced.

also, remember the time he tried to extort money from magglio ordonez?

I've always been hesitant to believe the guy. But then all of a sudden facts come out, and he was right.

I'm willing to believe that the sport was much more corrupt than anyone ever thought.

i believe that too. but i have a major gripe with his book. true or not true, players who did take roids should come out on their own. i feel these guys should man up and give themselves up. i never felt like jose was justifying his steroid use, but rather, glorifying it, like he was the trend setter. and for that, hes a mega douche. thats how i took it, anyways.
