i figured we should make a thread for the new season. the lions are gonna be dirty good this year. it also sounds like peyton manning needs more work on his neck and is out indefinitely. (though not confirmed)

also, lee roy selmon has passed according to the bucs.

The Lions last went 4-0 in the preseason in 2008, we all know how that turned out.

this isnt the 2008 lions. this is a team that can and should win AT LEAST 10 games. hell, they SHOULD of won 8-10 last year.

I think the Lions are finally gonna be good this year too. Looks like if Stafford and Best can stay healthy a full season that team is setup for a damn good season. I know it was only preseason, but Stafford was still playing against only starters and went like 26-31 for 350 yards and 5 TD's with no picks. This team looks legit

they were decent last year. at the very least they should have been 8-8. but thats not the way the deck was stacked. this year, they should be a very strong team.

What a great opening day game for Buffalo.

Haven't been that excited on opening day since we trounced New England when we got Lawyer Milloy from them.

Stafford, if healthy all year, will be named MVP.

What a hell of a comeback win yesterday. Listened to the whole thing, wishing I could have watched it. Great way to go 2-0 but the Patriots will really show what this team lacks. Brady will run right over the defense with another 300+ game but it's all good. Can't win'em all.
