I hope there's some sort of increased scrutiny that can be brought against PSU. I think that putting the entire university on probation and eying things very closely for several years would be a good idea.

Honestly I think that every major college football program should be under increased scrutiny. So many coaches are basically deities now that this sort of thing could and would happen a number of places if covering it up meant preserving football.

Just saw the rally for the idiot coach at the end of tsn and it makes me sick that they support such scum at that university

The more I hear about this the more I think he wasn't but that's just me. Yeah he went and told somebody about what happened years ago and the president did nothing, he should really have done more to prevent such a disgusting thing.

He stood up for him though. He's not the only one wrong in this case, far from it. But he didn't do enough. Child rape is serious, and he tried to turn a blind eye away from it.

he reported it, the AD reported it. police and state officials didnt do enough. wheres the outrage for that? why is joe in the spotlight? so many people failed the kids, it goes far beyond joe.

i dont disagree with him being fired. he is not a scumbag. he is not an enabler.

Why did it take so long to arrest him? Why all of a sudden in late 2011 did they finally do it?

of course he did. because hes a stand up human being who cared so much about the kids and the school, any short coming weighed on him, whether he deserved it or not.

ive been watching the coverage for 2 hours. ive heard sanduskys name maybe 3 times. and not once in the last hour. they are stringing up the wrong guy.

Pretty much sums up what I'm thinking. It's like its been assumed sandunsky is a monster, so the string up the next thing they can find.
