The face of the Expos and maybe the first baseball player I learned the name of, Gary Carter has died at age 57.

i was very sad to hear of his passing. even though he was an outcast on many MLB teams due to his interests and wholesome nature, he was still beloved by many and his passing is unfortunate.

It's already been a rough year for my boyhood sports idols with Paterno and now Carter passing. Dan Marino, Tony Fernandez, and Magic Johnson better be careful this year.

Gary Carter was a class act. Bad perm - but a great guy...

I think bad perm might be redundant. Is there such a thing as a good perm?
