Earl Weaver was the greatest!

He was a fantastic manager and a wonderful, hilarious guy. If you don't know much about him, take a few minutes to research him. Here's a couple highlights.

Won 1970 World Series
Won 4 AL pennants
Only manager to have 4 pitchers become 20-game winners in same season
Grew tomato plants in foul territory at Baltimore Memorial Stadium
Ejected 91 times (once ejected from both games of a doubleheader!)
When he got in arguments with umps, he would often peck the umpites foreheads with the bill of his cap
Got in many heated arguments with Jim Palmer on the mound about pulling him - with Palmer wanting out, and Earl refusuing!
Smoked cigarettes in the dugout when his pitchers made him nervous
...the list goes on.
