Anyone catch V-Mart giving up on a play rather than risking a plate collision?

Strangely, I don't hate this. I'd like to see less crazy plate dustups.

I don't hate the move either. And despite Weiters being built like a brick shithouse and he just rocks Mofos trying to make the play at the plate I wish he would just let them go.

especially considering his knee injury. why risk it in april, when they will need him in september and maybe beyond.

My Birds are taking on your Tiggers this weekend. Should be an amazing series to watch. Both great hitting ballclubs and our pitching is coming around. It's a shame you won't get to see Gausmen pitch, he goes tonight against the gnats.

I am going to try to get down to the Yard and watch a game. I really want to see your team. Good bunch of blue collar players, much akin to ours. If you haven't gotten a chance to see Manny Machado play yet he is a real special kid. He keeps his mouth shut, works his ass off, and plays the game as good as anyone in the MLB right now, Miggy aside. Once Manny packs on 10-15 pounds he will start hitting for some power. Sky is the limit for this kid.

Again, Nationals, good job in surprising me by being awful.

Though, Pirates are doing really, really good. Second best record in all of baseball, and have the misfortune to play in the Central, where the Cardinals have the best record in all of baseball, haha.

Dude, it was a really good series. Gausmen pitched amazing. I really like our two teams going at it for a chance to go to the world series. Oakland and Tampa are coming around strong so that kind of scares me. There were a shitload of Tigers fans there. Very nice fanbase

I realized it was sour grapes a little bit but I didn't take it seriously. You guys have a hell of a team. I am just glad I got to see Miggy and Fielder play. Fielder is just so fat I don't see him playing the field for longer then two more years, three tops. Thanks for winning tonight btw. I just need a mini sox collapse and for the decrepit Yanks to keep wilting. Father time is undefeated and when you have a lineup full of AARP members it makes you second guess their ability to sustain their current record pace. I say toss Tampa, Boston, and Baltimore in a hat, pick one, and you have a winner. Each I can make the arguement for first.

I get a little pissy but get sarcastic after a loss myself.

Pumped the pirates are doing their thing. Great for baseball. Teacher I had in highschool that I have become friends with went to the game that went into a lot of extra innings. His kids were so excited. Would also be good to see the old world series matchup again. A Buccos and Orioles world series would be awesome to see. Pittsburgh and Baltimore have a good thing going already in football so things would probably get crazier then they already are around here.

Angels can't sustain their winning without pitching to supplement the bats. They will drop back off.

Baseball season has been great so far and I think everyone in here has a team going for a pennant or wildcard.

Stick a fork in the Yanks. They are going to get Yankee spankeed from here on out.
