It's part of the game, always has been and always will (should/ought to/better) be - fighting! Let's all use this thread to post video of classic fights we love, and great new scraps from this upcoming season!

Also, be sure to bookmark HockeyFights.com - a pretty nifty collection of vintage and current bouts.

I'll start with this new modern classic - Neil v Lucic, Preseason 2009. As written by Puck Daddy, "Free tip: Do not anger Milan Lucic."

He's quickly becoming my second-favorite non-Sabre, or may already be there. Such a fucking BEAST.

I've always had a soft spot for this one. :) Only because Bonvie is a major Douchebag from my home town and he gets a chance to have "tea" with Rayzor, lol.

Here's an old Norris Division brawl! It's a long one FYI...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baHY18HpLwQ

And another, this time the fans get into it!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIBTjkpt_pc

And a classic of Probie...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRRVsyTWw_k

Around the 3:15 mark, that is a classic picture of what a hockey fight is all about. Sticks, gloves, buckets... epic.

Ah, ya gatta love the old Chicago Stadium!

here's a nice quickie from the days when we kicked everyone's ass....may, ray, the boogey man, etc.....great call by RJ, and high fives all around after wards.....we may have sucked back then, but at least it was entertaining....

i say if we aren't going to make the playoffs this year, called up cowan, mc cormick, and whomever else and lets make this season entertaining !!!

there was a fight that i saw on one of my uncles hockey fight tapes. it was a bench clearing brawl that took place after warm ups before the game. After most of the players had left the ice a player shot the puck into the other teams net. one of players from the other team saw that and went after him. a couple of more people came back from the tunnel on both teams and starting fighting and this continued to escalate until everyone was out. some guys were half dressed running on the ice in their shower shoes. the best part was that the refs werent out yet so there was no one to stop this. it went on for a good 5 minutes.

unfortunately i dont remember who was in it...i think philly might have been one of teams.

I have that one on dvd, but don't recall who the teams were - I may have to break out my fight dvd's, but i usually save that for the all star break.

I'm all for bringing back some entertainment to the game - I've had enough of the ice capades.

Nice job by the Rayzor!

Oh, Pat, this thread is for ANY fight from ANY level. Go ahead and throw some old WHL fisticuffs on here if you want. This thread could be perfect for tracking any fights our boy Kassian gets into this season, too!

Watching the Penguins vs Rangers tonight and saw a very good fight between Godard vs Brashear. Godard was getting it handed to him at first then opened up on Brashear. They both ended up bloodied. Someone keep an eye on youtube, I'm sure it'll be there sometime tomorrow. I would but I'm at work and not near a computer.

That was insane. I thought Brashear had him from the get go. All of a sudden off went Brashers helmet and Godard got some great shots in. Can't wait till it's on YouTube!
