I though it might be a good idea to track how our prospects of 2010 are doing this season. I'll try to update once every week or so...

Update 1: Oct.14, 2010

23. Mark Pysyk (5GP, 0G, 2A, 2P, +4, 10PIM) WHL

68. Jerome Gauthier Leduc (9GP, 3G, 5A, 8P, -2, 4PIM) QMJHL

75. Kevin Sundher (5GP, 0G, 1A, 1P, -5, 4PIM) WHL

83. Matt Mackenzie (4GP, 1G, 1A, 2P, +7, 2PIM) WHL

98. Steven Shipley (6GP, 4G, 4A, 8P, +2, 2PIM) OHL

143. Greg Sutch (5GP, 0G, 3A, 3P, +1, 21PIM) OHL

173. Cedric Henley (8GP, 3G, 4A, 7P, -1, 11PIM) QMJHL

203. Christian Isackson (3GP, 0G, 1A, 1P, --, 0PIM) USHL

208. Riley Boychuk (8GP, 1G, 0A, 1P, -5, 29PIM) WHL

I think it's awesome that you're sharing this, and I know this will make me a dick, but...there's no real relevance to some of the stats. For instance, Pysyk, I would rather see a points summary but mostly hits, blocked shots, turnovers, icetime, etc.

Sorry.

Henley and Shipley are intriguing to me.

Holy shit, do they even play with Goalies in the OHL? 10 Points for Shipley? Yikes...either he's become an offensively gifted player, or they just suck up in the OHL

I thought it was common knowledge that the OHL and QMJHL were high scoring leagues lol

I know it's a high scoring league, but I mean, you know as well as I do, Shipley isn't necessarily a 1.1 point per game player, I figured he'd get around 45-50 points this year

Maybe he finally found the touch I guess. Or, if the OHL provided such stats, we could've taken a look at his shooting percentage to see if he's unusually hot right now, like Hansel.

So hot right now!

Shipley. So hot right now. "Shipley"

To be fair though, he did have 63 points in 68 games last year. So it's not like this is "new-found" offensive ability.

Who knows, he might end up being better than Emerson Etem, that Center who were all pissed the Sabres skipped over. Just saying...

Just a thought, can you add their position to the listing? Not a problem with the more high-profile prospects like Pysyk, but would help me keep them straight for the rest.

Good call. Consider it done.

BTW, The Edmonton-Chilliwak game on Wednesday night will be televised up here. I'll let 'yall know how Pysyk/Sundher look...

Fuck, The games is only being shown in the top right corner of the screen because of the Winnipeg election results.

BTW, former Jet Thomas Steen (father of Alex) running for city council...
