Since when do egotistical owners have to be competant? Daniel Snyder owns an NFL franchise, doesn't he? The same nose picking, 24 year old virgin no one liked, made a fortune, and owns a major league sports franchise. Still a geek, still picks his nose, still unlikeable, still a loser; albeit a very rich loser. Money probably provided for him to lose his virginity.

The difference here would (alledgedly) be that he would allow Jim Kelley, Thurman Thomas, and perhaps a couple others, to be minority owners, and be hands on in the operation.

The players are not the problem, it's the coaching, hwy would you retain a Coach who has only ever won .40% of his games coached in, you take out the winning season with the Bears, and he is at best a .20% coach.
