I read this on a junior hockey board about Sutch

Gregg Sutch – Mississauga Majors –Buffalo Sabres

I think a number of people continue to think that ‘this has to be his year’ and then are once again disappointed.
He has struggled to make the score sheet with any consistency scoring only 7 goals on the best team in the OHL/CHL.
Sutch has been in many fights but is by no means a heavyweight in the league and has suffered some injuries/concussion.
This former 12 overall OHL draft needs to really step up his game or he will be an unsigned player returning in his OA Year.

Just watched a bit of the Kelowna vs Chilliwack game. Sundher got an assist on the game tying goal and scored in the shootout. From what I saw of him he's a good skater and a smart player. Probably pan out to be a 3rd line center with some offensive punch.

I know you'll do a playoff update soon, but I just wanted to say that McNabb (remember, he's Kootenay's captain) responding to a disappointing game one loss by putting up 1+2 and +3 in a 5-2 win is an impressive showing. For a defenseman, especially.

I know it's hard to say, but does anyone have a guesstimate of when we'll possibly see Pysyk up as a Sabre?

He's gonna be a good one

And yeah, I'll do a playoff update, once the 1st round is over. I'm going to throw in Kassian, McNabb, and Foligno's stats as well, since they're all in the playoffs, and all impact players.

Well, you gotta love that +/- stat.

I'm assuming they'll leave him in the 'Dub for his final year, hope he makes Team Canada (which he should), and let him polish his game a little more, then start him off in Portland for the 2012/13 season. Unless he has a Myers-like junior year (good luck with that :P )

Gotta be happy with with growth this season, though
