Just tuning into this one now.

The Belarus goalie's mask looks badass. I like it.

Germany beat Russia earlier today. Max did what he always did, turned and turned till everyone stopped skating and gave it away. Kovalchuk was Mr. Selfish like always.

Minnesto might have a decent goalie with Dennis Endras. The kid looked solid today.

Not only did they win but they shut Russia out. Impressive. Is Uwe Krupp still coaching the men's team?

Yes. He has built a solid team without any stars.
It was the first time Germany beat Russia at the WC after 36 tries. Russia played really poorly though.

Did Gaustad not make it out there yet?

No, he will play in their second game. He will be a veteran amongst a lot of youngsters. USA has the youngest team in the tournament.

BTW: USA is up 2-0 already. Austria sucks without our top players from foreign leagues. First goal was soft as fuck.
Kreider scored the first goal. I think I remember the kid from last years U20 gold medal game.

I was wondering too, he would be the star of this team. Maybe he makes more money with Versus.

Pewal. I don't know. It was a blindside hit and I think he hit his head. I'm not sure though

Our D is too old and slow for the young American team.
