And then there were 2.

Please, Sabres; channel everything good from that last game and bring it to this one. We need everything from it and then some to win out down this stretch.

LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!

Also, LET'S GO PANTHERS!!!

We win and the Panthers win, it's a win-win situation.

Gah!

Since the moment my feet hit the floor this morning, I've been thinking about all of the, "What ifs" that could go down tonight. So much, that I feel like I just played the game myself, friggin drained at work. Tried to tell myself that regardless what happens, this late season push has been exciting as hell to watch, but fuck that! I want it to keep going!

Sabres need to play this one tonight like it's a game 7 and get to Boston on Saturday to face a (Hopefully) shell of a roster in the Bruins.

HEY! RICO! If you're reading/listening to this right now, do us Sabres fans all a favor and take the hockey gods out for a couple pops before the game!! Also, try to recruit them to move their offices to Hockey Heaven, Buffalo. You're a pretty convincing guy; I know you can do it!

Coho pots 1 and has two helpers, Vanman with 2 goals. Sabres 5-2.

Bash Brothers(Foligno and McNabb) both lay at least 2 people out, each, and get into fights.

Even though Buffalo was down 3-0 against Toronto, they actually came out real strong with real urgency in their game. Problem is with their two best d-men out, they simply get over-matched and out played in their own zone. Luckily Philly is down Briere, Pronger of course, and Mezaros, Sestito and Grossman, so they may have a real good shot at winning tonight. So urgency combined with sloppy d-zone play may be enough.

What's nice and disappointing at the same time though, is to see the difference between how they played for the most part of the season vs the last few games when they put it all on the line. I know with an 82 game schedule that 100% effort every game is not feasible, but how many seasons in a row do they have to dig a hole at the start before they learn?

Oh, yes, and one more thing, dear Lord, about our enemies, ignore their heathen prayers and help us blow those little bastards straight to Hell. Amen.

I love how you can tell personalities simply by watching how they deal with anxiety before a big game. Most of the boys are swaying back and forth on the bench a little harder then usual. They look amped!

Maybe a Foligno/Tropp fight or something? Get things going?

Also, why isn't Sulzer in the lineup?

I do like how we're playing with a physical edge though.
