Who am I?
I am a SabresJunkie member, that has gone berserk. There will be ten police officers who are tasked with discovering my true identity before I kill everybody on this board.
I will post a clue pointing toward my victim. The police officers will then have three days to protect ten different people that may be killed. Each officer can make one protect. Besides protecting innocents, the police can also accuse real members of being the Assassin. Every time they make a wrong accusation, a black mark goes on their record. Two black marks and an officer is kicked out of the police force. If an officer succeeds in identifying me, (good luck) they can choose the next person to be the Assassin and gain the control of this account.
Rules:
1. The police officers will be the next ten people who post the word "in" at the beginning of their post. It's a good idea to put in a bit of thought before posting, if you have not frequented these boards for awhile, you will be less likely to identify the Assassin or the victim. In order to identify yourself as police, please start your post with the word "in." The Assassin may be a police officer, but betraying the police will lead to harsher penalties if he or she is discovered.
2. People will die.
3. Police officers may die, but a police officer may protect another police officer.
4. Police officers are given one solo accusation and one cooperative accusation. A cooperative accusation must be made by two members. Each officer must use his cooperative accusation before his solo accusation, and once both are used, the officer may not protect anyone else.
5. The assassin will provide clues which point to his next victim, and occasionally to himself.
6. The assassin will continue to post with his true account, and may provide hints there.
7. The assassin will write entertaining and mildly gruesome accounts of his kills.
8. When accusing someone of being the Assassin, you must use the following template:
"I accuse [user] of being the Assassin because of [reason]."
In the case of cooperative accusations, the template is as follows:
"[Other accuser] and I accuse [user] of being the Assassin because of [reason]. Both cooperating users must post complementary accusations, though the [reason] may be different, for the accusation to be valid. If you don't use these templates when accusing, the accusation won't count.
9. Once killed a user may not post in the thread, as they are dead. They also may not make any statements about the identity of the Assassin elsewhere, as they are still dead.
10. Civilians (non-police) may post.
11a. The Assassin is allowed to kill after three days have passed after the posting of the clue and not all protects have been made. If all protects have been made and the Assassin does not post within four days, each officer is allowed one additional protect.
11b. Once all protects have been made the Assassin can claim their kill or show who has been saved and start their next kill immediately.
12. If the Assassin does not reply within seven days after all protects are made, each officer gets a free accusation. However, that accusation must be made the next time that user posts, and cannot be stored for future use.
13. Police Officers are allowed to change their initial protect one day before the kill is made.
14. The Assassin reserves the right to add to these rules as he or she deems necessary. 15. SABRESAllTheWay is not allowed to participate in this round, due to his knowledge of Montalo's Assassin selection.
After the first ten posts are made to determine the officers, I will provide the first kill clue. (part of rules reworded to help, all rules are the same as when they were posted)
