I got a wicked glare on it right now, gotta wit until the daylight comes so I can see what it really looks like. Lots of multiple colored pencil cross hatching layers that have been brushed over with mineral spirits...shiny and annoying.

It's currently 3:30 and I have a class at 9:00 and am still up studying, taking like a five-minute break at the moment.

Disgusting. I think I'm just going to call it a night. lol. Friday night was the only time I've slept more than five hours the last week, as usual. (Hahaha I didn't go to bed until 6:00 Saturday morning, in truth... was out all night talking.) It's getting old, though.

Also I am apparently an empath.

I don't know how you're alive with such little sleep. I got 2 full nights sleep over the weekend, and a solid 7 hours last night... and I'm still exhausted. Man I suck.

And also, an empath? You're either a mutant from Marvel, someone with a highly developed sense of empathy, or you're capable of psychically reading the emotions of others.

If you are none of those things, than google has failed me for the last time.

My spider plant is never going to die ever. Had that thing for four years now. I think I'm going to pass it down to my first-born child.

I don't know how I'm alive, either, except that sleeping so little seems to be a necessity in college. I'm one of those people that needs a lot of sleep, though. If I got insomnia at this point in time I would just throw in the towel. Fortunately that is not something I've ever experienced during a time when I only have a few hours available for sleeping, but combining the two after knowing both separately is just the worst thought in the world...

And, yeah, I'm a mutant from Marvel.
Actually just this: http://healing.about.com/cs/empathic/a/ ... traits.htm
I had a friend tell me I was that after I told him a ton about it the other night (not sure why; it's something I've hidden from everyone else because it basically sucks because it's like being from another planet or something and it hurts and there's nothing to be done about it, and it's not really all that believable given that I appear harsh on the surface... and I don't think it's quite as ~magical~ as that link sometimes makes it appear lol), so I looked it up and went, "Yep."

..depends on whether the philosophy works, or is just a bunch of bullshit words, meant to tell you how little you, or anyone else, knows.

Nobody wants instructions on how not to succeed, or a user-manual that deals with nothing real. That's why 99.9% of all philosophical writings are so aggravating. They are simply nonsense.

actually yes i have. five classes worth of philosophy reading. which class are you up against? Personally the upper level philosophies can be interesting but the lower ones especially the farther you go back in time the harder it is to read. I had some awesome philosophy teachers one reason why i went on to get the minor and still consider going back for the major.
