I think it's right that you don't need a degree to get good jobs, but if you have a higher degree (and the company can afford it) they'll pay you more.
I can go into the Gov't as a scientist with a PhD and make 6 figures just to start.

As a guy who gave up a full scholarship and now am going back to school....I kind of wish I had done the scholarship. I wouldn't have my kids of wife now but i would have money.

I hear ya. I was going to go to the Savanna College of Art and Design on a full boat ride but chose to get married instead and follow her to Germany when she got orders. My kids are my life but sometimes I think of the what ifs.

this afternoon i played street hockey with a group of guys in a terribly small rink. by terribly small i mean that 4 on 4 was to crowded...but the more interesting part was that one of the goalies was using a life jacket as a chest protector....

Come home last night from work and the last bottle of whiskey I had in the house had seemingly gone missing.
