I caved and went to the hospital today, and I have a concussion. I had one a long time ago from when I fell off a horse at horseback riding camp and landed on my head. Uh-oh, bring on the rage!

Concussions are dangerous...but, they can also be strange fun.

I put my face through a windshield, about ten years ago; Grade III concussion...had a non-stop erection, for about a month/five weeks.

I was popular...for a while, at least.

:D

...I know: TMI.

There are only tickets in the 200's left at the box office for tomorrow night's game, StubHub is having problems with my card, and TicketLiquidator has crazy fees. If I can't get my card and StubHub to behave tomorrow, we're not going to the game :-(

Today I realized that I really want to work with kids for the rest of my life, and I am so freaking happy right now because I've always *known* that's what I want to do, help them, but I didn't... KNOW. If that makes any sense. Yeah, anyway.

I love my college.

Among 800 undergrads, we've given nearly $13,000 in the past two days. I know that number will keep growing until the end of the week because I just went to the business office to give some money with my card, and I saw all the names and donations from today written down. That money's going to build a school in Cambodia, a well in Africa, and continue to support the school in Uganda that we paid for last year as well as a home for AIDS orphans. I think next year I want to go on one of the trips to those various places, since every time they do something they add an annual trip there for the cross-cultural thing... Doubt I'll have the money after Russia, though, and likely a Cherokee reservation in South Dakota. I don't know when I am going to work next summer....

But, yeah. I really like my school. This is a big part of the reason that I'm here.

I have so much work to do on this piece....fuck I've been slacking. Having too much fun and leaving everything to the last minute. Only two weeks of being a bum but fuck I need to start going to bed earlier, drinking less beer more water and start getting shit done before the 11th hour.

I had to close today at work, it sucked, but I got an extra hour of work in because I could start cleaning anything until we actually closed.
