I have chosen my next victim. These two losses have not set well with me, and I must warn you that I am as bloodthirsty as ever. Solve the clue and you save another life. If not, somebody dies.

The next kill clue requires you to have the most basic of hockey knowledge.

-Penalty given when blood is drawn
-Penalty given when blood is drawn
-Red lines at each end of the rink
-Officials who do not wear armbands
-Forwards who do not take faceoffs
-Minor penalty incurred when one player catches another with his stick
-When a player crosses into the opposing zone before the puck
-Middle region of the ice
-Legendary player of Detroit Red Wings
-Legendary player of Philadelphia Flyers
-Surface that hockey is played on
-Movie starring Paul Newman
-Condition that exists when goaltender is not in net
-Horizontal pipe that spans the top of the net
-Former Buffalo Sabres division
-Shooting the puck over the red line and down past the opponent’s goal line
-Former Sabres player and front office employee

I will be ever so kind to give you an identity clue as well. Don't eat uncooked chicken eggs.

I feel Steve Yzerman is a possibility as the Red Wings player.

Would Lindy be considered front office though? I usually think of guys like Regier and Quinn - the management guys - not the coach, when someone says "front office."

This looks like a scattershot approach where there are tons of misleading clues. On the surface there are references to Ice, Cross, Adams, Howe (Howie). Like Dire Straits said, "two men think they're Jesus, one of them must be wrong." She/he can't kill everybody (at the same time, anyway). I was wondering if some of the answers to the clues are numeric. Penalty for drawing blood = 4, for example.

Yes Lindy would be considered Front Office, I remember a while back I looked at the site and It was Larry, Darcy, Tom, Lindy and someone else for front office.

I think you may have something with the numeric thing. I can't see why else the penalty for drawing blood would be listed twice. And also, if we can peg the legendary players on the Wings and Flyers, maybe their number is what's relevant?
All in all, I think looking for numeric relevance could be a good idea.

Well, two penalties for drawing blood which is a double minor so either 2 2, 2 2, (2, 2 minute penalties/ 2 minutes + 2 minutes) or 4 4 = 44? or 8... idk im just spitballin here, does anyone have an avatar with sekera on it?

The duplicate listing of the first line is an error. Kindly disregard it, it should only appear there once.

Clues 3-5, or even 1-5 could be a 2. Maybe time to add Rutledge222 to the list.

Clarke was 16, Parent 1, and Howe 9. Parent maybe just means parent, as in has kids?

Hmm, if it is a numeric clue, somehow, can we quantify the other parts too? For example, penalties and other rules are numbered in the rulebook, right?

Well then! Perhaps the first line is less likely to be irrelevant or a ruse?
