Decided to finally do something with the other sticks in our shop. Starting to take shape..

Wait a sec...

...much better! Just need to add the L brackets and a little wood glue to tighten things up and the new chair is ready for game time! And a few beer

With the chair I made yesterday, I'm all out of sticks. Lots of blades left though, trying to think of something I can make out of those. I've thought about making a lot of things out of sticks, but never a bar stool... you just gave me an idea, Hammy! Hopefully the boys can contribute to the cause today! Playing hockey @ 2 and I'm sure someone will lose their shit and break a stick or two

I went to Long Island this weekend to cover the 2011 Gold Coast Concours car show. The day before, my buddy and I went to my first Mets game at Citi Field to watch my favorite pitcher, R. A. Dickey, go up against Cole Hamels. The Mets ended up winning the game. Before the game we each got to meet Darryl Strawberry and get his autograph after we bought some fruit snacks at the Mets store to help his charity.

After the game we ended up driving around Jackson Heights in Queens and found a really good Columbian restaurant where I had some amazing pork chops.

The next day we went to the car show and saw some really rare and powerful Ferraris, Lamborghinis, 911s, etc.

It was one awesome weekend in NYC/Long Island
