I really want to play Brian Brohm this week seeing as I'm not winning the league anyway, but Alex Smith is playing Detroit... :( 3rd place is hard to walk away from.

I watched the Star Wars marathon on Spike yesterday... The Return of the Jedi is still my favorite, after not seeing the original trilogy in probably eight years.

Those movies are basically my childhood. My brother and I laughed so hard last night at how the only thing we ever asked for at Christmas and birthdays was Star Wars guys. As a result, we basically had everything. I was watching the movies like, "Oh, we had one of those. And one of those. Aaaand one of those cruiser things. We even had one of the red guards!" For some reason, though, we never got a Luke Skywalker action figure. Tons of Han Solos and Princess Leias, but no Luke Skywalkers, even though we would ask for some. We ended up using some random action figure for him because he had similar hair and a tunic on.

One Christmas, my two brothers (at the time lol) and I got red lightsabers, while the neighbor kids got blue and green ones, and then my cousins showed up for the day with red and green ones... Guess what we did all day. There wasn't any snow that year, either, and it was warm enough to go outside without a jacket on.

I would like a cup of coffee, but I really don't want to go all the way downstairs and do all the work required to make one.

I haven't seen the Family Guy Star Wars things, but I want to. I don't even like Family Guy, but I want to see those. :P

Whenever we played and it was just me and my brothers, I would always have to be Luke Skywalker, even though I'm a girl. My one brother would be like, "You have to be Princess Leia!" and I would refuse and make my other brother, who is four years younger than I am, be Princess Leia. He hated me so much, but he didn't have much say in the matter because I would be eight and he would be four. My other brother always wanted to be Han Solo, so that worked out well. Then we'd add Ben Kenobi and Chewbacca when my cousins came over, and the neighbor kids would be Boba Fett, Darth Vader, an Ewok, and Yoda. Random characters are random. It was nice when Episode I came out because then we had more characters to use instead of just the standard ones.

My two youngest brothers have absolutely nothing to do with Star Wars (mainly because we only ever had it on VHS, and by the time they were cognizant of the fact that they exist it was all DVDs), and even the middle one, Ben, doesn't really have that connection to it because essentially Star Wars was forgotten when we moved since we were no longer around all the kids we played with, and he was only seven then, though the action figures and everything were used for another couple years, though not by me. It's tragic, really. :( That was all I ever did. Every once in a while it would be GI Joes, but even then half the time we'd just take them and pretend they were giants that the Star Wars guys captured. The other half I'd use my Barbies as POWs for the GI Joes.

I wish we still had all the toys. Man, that would be awesome. I would pass them down to my own children eventually hahaha.

It's been a week, and I still have not found my prescription glasses. Perhaps they are in the same place as my make-up bag, scissors, and one blue sock. :?

Pearl is a beautiful name, but it's so annoyingly difficult to say. The ending...

I wouldn't name a child that, I don't think, but maybe a dog. I could have two female dogs later on in life, Rhythm and Pearl. I've already wanted to name a dog Rhythm for a while... wanted a male named Jackson, too, but maybe Pearl instead.

What an important decision that won't matter for at least a decade.

We had to read The Scarlet Letter over the summer, and whenever we talked about it in class my one friend Chris would always say, "Whenever I hear Pearl, I think of Mr. Krabs' daughter!!!" Every class for about a month he would say this.

As soon as the preacher dude was introduced in that book, I was like, "Well. He's the baby daddy."

So anti-climactic.
