Bahaha you would hate cookies.

I made Funfetti cookies. I can thank Mel's mom for making them first and showing me how wonderful they really are.

So I took his Bandits tickets and put them at the bottom of a tupperware container, then I put Reese's miniatures over them and then the Funfetti cookies on top. I'm so excited to see him. I gotta get through a shift at work first, though. :(

So my grandma died intestate, and I'm completely overwhelmed/confused/what the heck with all of this. Why do you have to be rich in order to be an administrator? Looks like we're going to be in Jersey for a while :(

She did, and we had hired a lawyer because that side of the family is shady but he jerked us around for a few weeks and did nothing (I was the one who found my uncle and cousin...) and then came back saying he wouldn't file anything until we paid a gigantic retainer. So I've been doing research and don't think we necessarily need a lawyer, but before applying to be an administrator, you essentially need 2 grand to apply for the paperwork. It's such a catch-22. We have no money, and to get money, you need money, and to be there to file for anything. I just hope I don't catch the hair gel/fake tan fever while we're down there. :?

Eek, that sounds like a nightmare, Sneak. (unintentional rhyming FTW) I hope your family stays civil about it, or becomes civil if they're not.

I am having a will drawn up ASAP after I have a child.

Wills can be amusing sometimes... There is a friend of the family that's currently ninety-two years old (I think; she was friends with my great-grandmother, and then with my grandmother). She has no children, and her husband is deceased. Her grandnieces and grandnephews and some other people think that they're going to inherit everything when she dies, but really, it's all going to my mother and her siblings. I found this out a couple weeks ago. Her family is not going to be very impressed at all. She has a lot of money stored away, and they know it.

thats super shady, i hate when shit like that happens... my brother in laws grandpa was wealthy, and remarried and got Alzheimers after his wife died. he had a will all drawn up before hand, but once he started going senile, she drew up the will completely differently after he gave her power of attorney... basically, she changed it around so her and ger family got everything. my brother-in-laws family got 0. talk about a wicked cunt.

I do believe the drops of blood from my bedroom to the bathroom downstairs ended up being evenly spaced (nosebleed lol I get those pretty frequently).

I'm impressed.

Cuestionario: Why, when I was a child, was it an event every New Year because I got to stay up past midnight, but now I regularly go downstairs to get something to munch on at 4:00 in the morning to find my two youngest brothers still awake? I have oldest child bitterness. Hahaha.

This time it was OK, though. I secretly watched from the cracked door while my eight-year-old brother danced in his bedroom. That kid is genuinely good and fun to watch. He can pull off the freaking robot, and he's eight. I caught him trying to do the moonwalk, spin, stand on toes the other day, though (which was really surprising because I have no idea when he watches these videos; the little sneak must go on YouTube before anyone else is awake because that's really the only time he could without being found out), and the moonwalk, at least, was just terrible. :P I should teach him, now that I can do it fluidly once more like I could when I was twelve haha. I'm just like, "I wish I could dance when I was eight."

But, seriously, he should have been in bed at 8:00 like I would have been at that age. OH, THE INJUSTICE. I swear my parents are going to end up paying for his college education. They're all, "Nooooo! Never!" but I know. Meanwhile, I don't even get the little that was promised me and factored into my choosing the college I did. Oh well. Most parents become more lax as they raise more children. I will try extra hard not be that way, though. As an oldest child, I acutely hate it and will pay much more attention to it and check myself more than the majority of the population as a result. Hahaha.

Coming into work at 5am because your girlfriend came home wasted at 4am and woke up the entire house makes me especially disgruntled.
