I agree with the lack of grip on the composite goalie sticks. I had the same issue with the 6K, went back to my old Koho's. I couldn't find a place to grip on the stick that I liked.

Although what's weird is my positional sticks have excellent grip. I use the Synergy, and never lose my grip on that thing.

I think RBK still isn't the way to go on sticks, Easton has always been my favorite, so maybe I'm a bit biased. But I totally understand where you're coming from the on the lack of grip. It makes it especially hard to recover after a poke check move.

i tend to go with either RBK, or if i have the money, montreal. peranis in flint still has a ton of em, but they are slowly disappearing.. i find montreals are slightly more heavy, but they balance out well, and are hard to destruct.

i want to try a cheaper bauer composite, i miss using the old bauer reactor 5000 sticks. those are long gone, as well as TPS icecaps. i might try a response r4 as well.
