We won 7-5 tonight in Hockey. It was our first win in 7 games.

It was a good feeling winning for once.

i was just looking through some of the things i wrote about 5 years ago. there was still a sense of desire in it (my writing), something that makes me feel like despondency was just another moment, however prolonged it was, much like happiness and love.

it's not that beauty (in nature) is all i can appreciate anymore, but it's all that i can find hope in.

Lately I've been using the following expression out loud or in my mind a lot lately, and it cracks me up.

"Your ______________ be makin' my dick soft.".

For example, the other day I told a coworker in confidence, what I was thinking about saying to a customer, "You're cockroaches be makin' my dick soft."

lol ahhhhh man. I'm sorry that slays me. It originates from the Dave Chappelle Show, I can't recall the exact skit- oh wait it was a car commercial spoof. lol

Anyways, all this typin' be makin' my dick soft.

I tend to hook more than slice, my wrists some times get a little too quick with my driver, I hit my irons and hybrids straight 99% of the time.

My handicap is down to a 7 this year, was an 8 last year, but was a 6 the year before, when I had nothing to do but golf. lol

I also tend to either hook/pull the ball and very rarely slice. My handicap was around a 20 (18 holes) last time I was playing regularly.

When I was a child, I lived out in the middle of nowhere, and the neighbor kids, my cousins, my brothers, and I (at the time we only numbered nine) had free range of a good square mile without any adult supervision and far out of hearing range. We'd even go swimming in the creek without any adults there, as long as we had a "chaperone" that was twelve or older... When I went to my aunt and uncle's house or my grandparents' house, which were in town, I was allowed to go wherever I wanted as long as I was back within a certain period of time after it got dark. Everybody else was, too. Now my youngest brothers would never be allowed anything like that. The older of the two, who is eleven, almost a teenager, was not allowed to go to the cemetery by my grandparents' house even though it's only about a quarter-mile away and I used to walk there both by myself and with other cousins when I was as young as six. They're not even allowed to go to the park that is ONE BLOCK from my aunt and uncle's house anymore. They're eleven and eight, and I have to go with them if they want to go. I went there all the time as a child, whenever my aunt watched us (which was 3-4 times a week), oftentimes bringing my two brothers with me when I was 7-8 and they'd be 5-7 and 3-4. I keep asking my mother what has changed, and she can never give a straight answer. It's stupid. Nothing about human beings has changed in the last 10-15 years...
