We were up at Lake Isabella. It's a man made lake at the southern end of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Sequoia National Forest.

I've got some more pictures but they're not online yet.

No, unfortunately. I'll have to ask him what he did with all his paintings; that's really all he did half the time when I was very little. I still remember what a couple of them look like... In person, you can't really tell that that drawing is a drawing; it looks like a monochromatic photograph. The only areas that give it away are the background and the bottom portion of the drawing. That's obviously pencil there, but elsewhere, you can't tell.

I wish I had his talent.

marketing techniques. The fish is actually quite excellent. I'm usually in the Ride booth selling tickets. though this year i'm not going friday, b/c i'm not working on my birthday.
