Good luck man, I'm going to look it up today (saw it on your FB page)...my goal weight is about 20lbs away :/

I just finished Day 1 week 1, it only took about 5 mins; but my arms are dead right now. From what I've read about the program is that the first 2 weeks are a joke, but it picks up hard afterward. Following it to a T right now, may modify, but doing the 30 day trial of it right now, so if by 30 days I'm not feeling it, I'm gonna ship it back. But right now, and from what I've read, it's serious, and it's pretty solid.

If I lost 20 pounds I'd be near my lowest adult weight ever, 129.

fixed.

Yeah, I got a cold, then I got the flu within about a week of each other. So I dropped from around 145 to below 130.

Damn Jay, I remember you were still 200 trying to get even lower. That's great.

If I dropped 20 pounds, oh god, I'd be around 130 or 125ish.

50lbs! But I finally have a reason to lose it besides health and vanity - people want me to join the Buffalo Fenians Gaelic football team and I'm very inclined to go for it.

Rant ahead...

I am about to flip shit because registering for classes is ALWAYS such a fucking headache. I switched majors this semester so I still haven't taken this basic, core course that is required for my major. Because of this, when I try to register for upper-level courses it won't let me because I don't have that pre-req. Last year when I was registering for the current semester, I had the professors give me overrides to allow me to take the courses I'm in now because of the same situation. So this course that I still need to take is being offered between semesters and it's an online course, but it is full. I went to talk to the professor teaching the course to see if he could squeeze me in and he said there are about 50 other students who have asked the same thing. The online course has 40 spots. So I asked him if there is a possibility of opening up another online course since there are so many students that need to take it, and he was like, "Well that's up to the Dean and we have brought it up to him, blah blah blah."

It's just SO frustrating. There is one course that I HAVE to take next semester because I have an internship lined up in the summer, and I need to take that course before I start the internship if I want to get credit towards my degree for the internship. But I can't fucking register for the class! I emailed the professor explaining my situation and she said there are few other students who are on the wait list to be added if there are any openings and UGH I just want to fucking scream.

I'm also a junior but I was listed as a sophomore because I don't have enough credit hours for a junior status because I switched majors, so I had to register like 2 weeks later than I was supposed to which pisses me off because I probably would have been able to register for that online course.

WHYYYYY does registering for classes always have to be such a god damn hassel? I swear to god there has never been a time when registering for classes has gone smoothly.

My GF had similar problems her entire time at Buff State. I think their system (in general) blows.

She had to wait 10 weeks after her master's project was turned in and graded before it showed up in the computer so they could issue her degree. This is also after taking 1 full semester of extra classes because they didn't evaluate her transcript from her BA.

It's sooo frustrating. I have a meeting with the chairman of my department tomorrow, and I don't think I'm going to be able to control my frustration. I'm kind of nervous haha. I don't want to come in and be like, "THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS FUCKED." but man I'm just so frustrated over this!

i definitely agree with this. fortunately, my problems haven't affected me too badly as of yet, but a few minor nuances might make my plan a bit more difficult. my girlfriend, on the other hand, is having a ton of problems.

You HAVE to check out this amazing recipe courtesy of Rachael Ray and The Food Network:

Now that is some culinary art right there.
