My Star Trek connection would be the assassin identity clue.
Nice catch on CV's reference to Star Trek and Phil's to Picard HIL ;)

the assassin is pleased to see the gears of intellect
turning, even if the matches made aren't perfect
and would like to offer another clue

I offer a warning, things aren't always as they seem.
Are you sure you're making the right connections?

Rearrange it and you just might have a name.
But don't think too hard, don't be too exact,
and don't take me quite literally.

LEMONY - LNIMOY = Leonard Nimoy. You spelled it wrong

It's hitting me in the face and it's not clicking.

It's like walking barefoot in a dog park and waiting to step in shit.

I appreciate the attention, and Lord knows I would love to kill you all...you know in a friendly way. And I did ask Sabretoothpick to be the assassin, but I was too late. Alas, the next killer had already been chosen.

CV it doesn't let you off the hook. Both you and Rbochan are in Syracuse where Picard (if there is a Star Trek connection) played for the Syracuse Crunch.

I need to get working on the numbers :D

Asking me about Trekkie stuff is like asking me to speak fluent Hindu.

Yup. They figure they're nailed, but alas, they are not :( .....yet ;)

LEMONY(sp?):

Elm Yon
Lone My
Noel My
Em Only

En Lo My

"M" only? As in: "A little nerdiness will reveal he's actually the thirteenth" (letter)? I'm going to be completely grey by the end of the night and I blame YOU :D

Those are the victim clues. The Star Trek stuff is the assassin identity clue. I do agree with PSP's earlier assessment that they all need to be protected as does S2S, Jvaccaro, and DBTG. I don't know anyone else that goes to UB.

This is much more fun than watching the game

Hahaha you guys lost me at Star Trek.

I'm pretty much useless now, but I do stand by my suggestion of protecting all UB forum members.

I was in favor of the war in 03.

I have owned apparrel of two NHL teams.
The Buffalo Sabers and the Carolina Hurricanes.

I am not one of the top ten posters on the boards.

I have a bible on my bookshelf and a cross
hanging above my bed.

I am Confirmed, and I routinely go to church.

And I like long walks on the beach and puppies.

I'm going on a limb here and instead of starting with A being 1, I'm going backwards, with 26 as A and I'll see what we get here.
12- O
5- V
13- N
15- L
14- M
25- B

OVNLMB

Well doing it backwards did nothing.

He has owned apparel from both the Sabres and Hurricanes.

Who all here is from North Carolina and South Carolina?
I know ScSabresFan is from SC, YankeeinRaleigh is from Raleigh, NYIntensity is from Wilmington, I know someone is from Boone area, and I think there might be one more besides me?

And I like long walks on the beach and puppies.
NYI lives in Wilmington and is the beach, could fit into the long walks on the beach and Hurricanes apparel.

Also Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is where Sc's#1Sabresfan lives, also on the Beach.
