Sometimes it is sooooooo difficult not to post eighteen paragraphs in response to something inane and ignorant posted by a family member on Facebook... never do. Not only would it just cause anger regardless of how meticulously researched and sourced it would be, but it takes a hell of a lot of gumption for me to wander into anything resembling a debate online, even on there where people are themselves in internet form :P Horrible anxiety and have to fight off panic attacks as soon as the reply is sent off. :? (this doesn't hold true with friends, just with family and people I don't know as well.)

Unfortunately family does not know this, so they never know just how many hours of research and study I have to put into something before seeing something posted to the contrary causes me to actually consider posting a dissenting opinion. Typically there has to be a blatantly false attack on a person or group for that to happen.

This is a numb day for me.

Officially, it's my sister's Bday and also the 3 year anniversary of my dad passing away from brain cancer. I still remember watching the "May Day" and “No Goal!” game with you, dad! Cancer may have taken you, but you’re still with me in the times we shared and while watching every Sabres game!

Miss you, big guy...

Question for anyone local who has been to this place before...

I'm curious as to what the rep is for Chef's Restaurant up on Seneca? I know they have a dining room dedicated to the French Connection but I'd love to take Tara, mom and my sis out for lunch one of the days we're in town and I really want to see the bar top made from slabs of the Aud.

I went to Chef's once a few years ago when my sister graduated from Canisius. As far as I remember, it was really good.

Good reputation, but very old school Buffalo restaurant from what I remember. Like salad=iceberg lettuce, a few chick peas, and one tomato slice and probably comes topped in shredded cheese and an egg. Heavy red sauced-pasta and maybe a linguine with clam sauce option.

Lindy would move Luke Adam off the first line and put Leino there the week I'm going against my friend in fantasy who has Leino on his team.

what kind of weird situations are we talking about here? the kind where you wake up with a man scrotum glued to your hand or the kind where you walk in on two people having sex and are invited to join?

Is it weird that I don't find either of those to be *that* weird?

My best friend's ex-boyfriend always IMs me on Facebook chat almost always to talk about how he misses/loves my best friend or to talk about some thing that is happening between the two of them. It's getting really awkward.
