When was the last time a goaltender was the sole cover athlete for an NHL game?

Yea, an goalie hasn't been the cover athlete since Vanbiesbrouck 13 years ago. Miller doesn't have a chance.

John Vanbiesbrouck was the cover athlete for NHL 97

Love the crowd, doesn't look like there's just 3 different people anymore... I'm going to be interested in how the faceoffs work, I'm probably gonna go through 3 to 5 games just to figure out which style works best for me before going on line.

ONLINE MODE I hope they fix the whole "game over when other guy quits" thing. Make it so the other guy loses, you win and get to finish the game. It doesn't matter if you end up getting smacked (like the guy quits when down 1-0 and the computer wins) but just let me finish the damn game!

Johnny Toews is a great guy to have as the cover athlete. Had an absolutely unreal season. Canada's best forward at the Olympics and then leads his team to a Stanley Cup while winning the Conn Smythe. Unfortunately for Miller there was one guy more deserving of the cover.

I'm so glad playoff beards are in, because the pathetic amount of facial hair they let you use in this game sucks.
