Hopefully people who didnt modify their xbox didnt get the ax.... Id hate to turn on my xbox later and find out ive been disconnected for something I didnt do... |

Well serves them right. Now they need to buy a brand new Xbox in order to play Live again. They ban the account and ban the Xbox's serial number or something to prevent it from ever getting on Live again. |

I understand that its costing them money, but in the long run this is just going to get people away from xbox and have them go to the PS3's free, no hassle internet. Stuff like this will help them gain short term money when Xbox fanboys go get a new system and/or pay 50 bucks for xboxlive, but in the long run I really feel more people will switch to sony. Paying for internet + inferior system + not blue ray + red ring of death = xbox will lose the console wars if PROJECT NATAL doesn't revolutionize the world. |

To be honest, xbox is definatly a superior system than PS3 in my opinion, the only thing that PS3 has over xbox is Free internet, and Blue ray, but dont think xbox isnt making a blue ray player in thier system, BUT I do have to say that the PS3 is tempting to me to get it with the free internet, I really wish that xbox had free internet! |

Hardware wise Ps3 is a tad bit better than Xbox, but most teams develop using the 360 because its been out their longer and its a relatively easy system to develop for (I've read/heard). Thats why many Ps3 games don't seem as polished as their 360 counterparts. I've owned both systems, but probably hold bias to the Ps3 because of personal RROD trauma |

As noted by another thread here, the first thing I did upon purchasing a Wii was to soft-mod it to play burned games and iso's on a USB device. I've modded: PS1, PS2, PSP, Wii, TiVo series 1 and 2 (and soon HD TiVo), various cell phones, and the list goes on. I will say however...if I like a game and I intend to play it, I purchase it. I always have. I don't consider myself a pirate at all, just a savvy consumer. I think this is totally within their rights but a bit heavy handed. Of course it's all probably part of a strategy since a lot of Xbox games are designed to be online / multiplayer-centric. |

I didnt see a lot of games from Sony that I liked.... I mean halo is my preferable taste. But idk there are other games too from the Valve I like... etc etc |

Yeah Xbox has way better games, but I basically stick to the NHL series and the SKATE. series. Here and their i'll pick up something like MGS4 or Left4Dead(when I had the xbox), but I basically stick with my 2 faithfuls |

And the PS3 would be cheaper in the long run anyways. Built in Wi-Fi, Blu-Ray HD player capable of 1080p resolution, wireless controllers with rechargable batteries included, free online play which most likely wouldn't be as goood as xbox but is solid, and many other things. And the ONLY place in the world where people would prefer an xbox to a PS3 is in USA. Everywhere else in the world the PS3 is and has been outselling the 360 by a decent margin. XC, for my computer I download things, but with a console I have bought everything legally, plus fucking up a $500 system which is backwards compatible is not what I want to do. I personally think the PS3 controller fits perfect in your hand also, I like having the analog sticks next to each other since your thumb sits right over that spot. The only part of the 360 controller I like is how the trigger buttons are setup, but I do not like the bump buttons, I prefer the PS3 buttons like that. |

I have smaller hands so I personally prefer the Xbox controller. One awesome surprise when the RROD happened and we had to get a PS3 was Little Big Planet. Its an awesome game, amazing visuals and custamization, but extremely simple. I love the art style in it and its the one game (that isn't for the wii (which we dont have)) that my girlfriend will actually play. So LBP is a Ps3 winner. |

I really wish that Left4Dead would come out on PS3. That was one of my favorite games when I had my 360, and really one of the first FPS's I actually really got into besides GoldenEye64 lol. If I actually had some extra money I wouldn't mind getting another 360 for that game and Project Natal. |

Im getting L4D2 for Xbox only because most of my friends are getting it for XBox, I like all shooters better on the computer because the mobility and the aiming is so much more convenient. Plus there are cool Mods, custom maps and other things to make the game better and the best part is that they are for free. |
