I think some posters think the op may have meant a broader area than just Afghanistan when he said, "Fuck honor killings, fuck islamic extremism, fuck spending hundreds of billions of dollars doing ANYTHING over there as far as i'm concerned." I can't really see why he would like Iraqi or Pakistani beheadings any better. I, personally, don't believe he meant to equate "over there" to mean just within that border. Perhaps he will clarify for us.

I was only referring to afghanistan. I should have spoken more precisely.

Of course other situations are probably just as fucked up, but I was specifically referring to Afghanistan, and our ten years of involvement there. I dont like Iraq, or Pakistan, and want our money not going there either, but wasnt referring to them.

For the sake of accuracy, we've been in Afghanistan a lot longer than 10 years.
