ETC "The delusional, man-made global warming denier" reports:

Glaciergate

"The UN's climate science body has admitted that a claim made in its 2007 report - that Himalayan glaciers could melt away by 2035 - was unfounded. The African claims could be even more embarrassing for the IPCC because they appear not only in its report on climate change impacts but, unlike the glaciers claim, are also repeated in its Synthesis Report."

Africagate

"A LEADING British government scientist has warned the United Nations’ climate panel to tackle its blunders or lose all credibility.

The most important is a claim that global warming could cut rain-fed north African crop production by up to 50% by 2020, a remarkably short time for such a dramatic change. The claim has been quoted in speeches by Rajendra Pachauri, the IPCC chairman, and by Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary-general.

This weekend Professor Chris Field, the new lead author of the IPCC’s climate impacts team, told The Sunday Times that he could find nothing in the report to support the claim. The revelation follows the IPCC’s retraction of a claim that the Himalayan glaciers might all melt by 2035, dubbed 'Glaciergate' by commentators."

Meanwhile, the Obama administration is plowing forward to nationalize the Global Warming industry.

We should stop all the environmental efforts. We might accidentally make the planet a better and healthier place.

Who do you see arguing anything of the sort?

If politicians want to play scientist and take a shot at my pocketbook, some defensiveness and pushback should be expected.

Screw it...you pay for it. Thanks.

Isn't it ironic, don't you think? A little bit toooo ironic. Yeah, I really do think...

Was it the head of the Weather Channel who was fired for questioning how we determine the "ideal" climate? I seem to recall a story along these lines and thinking, "you know, that's a damn good question." Seriously, how do we know that warming would actually be bad and not good? What would be the ideal average global temperature?

Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert both did skits that were suspiciously similar ending with the conclusion that the globe is going permanently dark. :D

and it continues....

Scientists are forced to withdraw a study from a scientific journal published in 2009 about rising sea levels caused by global warming.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2 ... ct-siddall

Incomplete information and two separate technical mistakes forced the retraction.

my favorite part:
Quote:
Siddall said that he did not know whether the retracted paper's estimate of sea level rise was an overestimate or an underestimate.

You don't say?
Well until you have a better idea please stop submitting papers to "scientific" journals cited by the IPCC and STFU.

Climate scientists have become the #1 argument against global warning in the past few months.
