Don't let the door hit you in the ass Chris. I'm sure your friends on wall street have a nice consulting gig waiting for you.

With that announcement Dodd just improved the Dems chances of holding on to the Senate seat from Connecticut.

Pelosi and Reid are creating sacrificial lambs everywhere.
It's become very obvious that their health care reform must pass at any cost...their own seats, chairmanships and majority control included.

Of course the Dodd situation is special...do I need to remind everyone he's the jackass that put the language in the bailout that allowed the AIG executives to receive tax payer funded bonuses.

He was about to get his clock cleaned this election.

Good ridance.

Now... if we can only get the other 99 to follow suit. Well, maybe 98. We'll let Russ Feingold stay.

Announced plans to retire in 2010 (so far):

House of Representatives
14 Republicans; 10 Democrats

Senate
6 Republicans; 2 Democrats

Governors
4 Republicans; 3 Democrats

Meanwhile, in Florida the wacko, tea party wingnuts have forced the Florida GOP chairman to resign today, moving one step closer to dumping a popular Republican governor as their Senate candidate in favor of an extremist ideologue who has little chance of appealling to moderate voters in the general election.

Which party is creating sacrificial lambs?

Hmmm.

Florida is...well...special ;)

When I look for sane politics and an informed citizenry, I don't look at Florida. Present company excluded of course ;)
