In February of 2010 the show (Family Guy) came under attack by FOX News commentator and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for its portrayal of a girl with Down Syndrome whom Chris admires. In one line, the girl says that her mother is a former governor of Alaska. Palin, whose youngest son has Down Syndrome, called the episode a "kick in the gut." The voice actor who portrayed Palin's daughter, Andrea Fay Friedman, who also has Down Syndrome, responded by saying, "In my family we think laughing is good. My parents raised me to have a sense of humor and to live a normal life. My mother did not carry me around under her arm like a loaf of French bread the way former Governor Palin carries her son Trig around looking for sympathy and votes."

Just caught it off wikipedia.

Yeah, you're late to the show, but still a good read ^.^

I find Palin derangement syndrome amusing.

Is that the best use of your political energy? really?

If they're seriously looking to put a woman of her genius in the White House, then I think it should require ALL of our political energy.

As far as I can tell she's now just a fox news commentator and runs around with the tea party people.
I wouldn't worry about her on a national Republican ticket ever again.

Seriously.

it's not funny enough that she has a show on the discovery channel. I mean Deadliest catch has more scientific value than a political show. it's bad enough reality shows are pushing history and science to premium cable channels.

Sarah Palin has a TV show?

WTF are you talking about?

*off to google it*

....*sigh*....
Ya see?
Right there...that's why people should stop worrying about Palin when it comes to politics.
It's grossly apparent she has no interest in being elected to public office again.

It's funny. Calm down.

It won't be funny if her popularity springboards her into the mainstream, and she declares candidacy, will it? If Jesse 'theconspiracymind.com" Ventura, and Arnold "guess where I'm from" Schwarzenegger can win elections, then stranger things have happened. Hell, they used to have chandelier riding keg parties in the White house at one time. Life is way more fickle than our current perception believes it to be.
