There's lots of people who believe her propaganda and drivel. She is getting paid absurd amounts of money to go speak at these Tea Party events, and to appear on Fox to repeat the Republican talking points of the day. Not bad for white trash from backwoods Alaska. I'm looking forward to the day that her machine falls apart, and she learns just how fickle the American public can be. |

She has no experience, she comes off as straight retarded in interviews, she thinks the universe is 6,000 years old and that dinosaurs and man lived together.....but if she looks in the camera and says "Momma bears need to get this country back on track" people like it. Her running for president in 2012 would be the best thing that ever happened to Barak Obama. All those independents who might be persuaded to vote Republican would come running back to the big O. |

I agree. If this trend towards ubber-right wing Republicans continues, I could see her gain footing as the Rep's candidate....and if they are dumb enough to run with her I see a wave of Independent voters coming the Dem's way. All in all though I think the GOP is smart enough not to put an idiot like her up for the running. |

I agree. I think there are many more moderate conservatives being heard behind the scenes than we know of so I think that her chances of getting their blessing would be a looooong shot at best. The media is show casing a lot of the nutty ones but I think the rational voices of the GOP will keep her from destroying their presidential chances. |
