The only part of the Obama stimulus that made sense...and the one bragged about with the line "Tax cuts for 95% of working families" got screwed up and the IRS wants their money back. AIG and GM get to keep their money but you need to pay that shit back citizen. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091117/ap_ ... dit_pickle |

Ya know, there is only one cure for the current tax code crises in this nation, and here it is. WRITE A SIMPLE FUCKIN TAX CODE BASED ON A FLAT NUMBER AND FORCE THESE FUCKIN GOVERNING BODIES AT EVERY LEVEL INTO BALANCED BUDGETS EVERY FUCKIN YEAR. There, problem solved. Slesh, out! |

I also noticed in that report, the only people who qualified and got more money were single people making over $95,000 and couples making over $190,000 a year. So that seems weird, wouldn't you much rather give the money back to the middle class because those are the ones who actually need to worry about the economy more than the upper class people. $95K a year for a single person is living the dream. |

Slesh, out! *cough* FAIR TAX *cough* Unfortunately, the governing bodies, dont have a clue as to what middle class needs, they are so far removed from us. Plus they are the same bodies who vote themselves raises, lucrative retirements, life long salaries, and the best health care. Are they going to create laws against what their personal interests are? I doubt it. In addition, those same soles need job security. It takes millions of dollars to be elected, to bullshit the American public, and who has that kind of money? Right, big business that needs to recover those "donations" in the form of tax breaks, kick backs, favors, or *cough* bailouts. Seems our government is a monster who addictively feeds itself with middle class dollars. |
